Consolidated Metco Announces Personnel Promotions

Portland, OR – Consolidated Metco Inc. (ConMet), the leader in lightweight component technology for the heavy-duty transportation industry, announced today the promotions of Michael Hurley and Michael Harman to Vice President and Michael Miga to Program Development Manager.

Hurley has 17 years of experience in the trucking industry, including the last three as an Account Executive with ConMet in Kirkland, WA. He has served in a variety of positions in his career with both truck component suppliers and truck OEM's. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University.

Harman has spent twelve years with ConMet, both in Engineering and Sales. He joined the company as an engineer before moving into sales where he served as an Account Executive and most recently as Director of OEM Sales since 2000 at the company headquarters in Portland, OR. He has a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Oregon State University.

Miga has been promoted from Senior Program Manager to Program Development Manager working out of the company's Plastic Design Center in Portland, OR. Miga joined ConMet in 2004 after serving in a variety of engineering positions with Volvo Trucks North America for eight years. He has a Masters degree in Mechanical Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from State University of New York.
