Consolidated Metco Promotes Brian Rieger to Wheel End Product Manager

Portland, OR – Consolidated Metco Inc. (ConMet), the leader in lightweight component technology for the heavy-duty transportation industry, has appointed Brian Rieger to the position of Wheel End Product Manager.

Rieger’s primary responsibilities will be to identify key customer needs both domestically and overseas, formulate product solutions, build relationships with new customers, secure initial contracts and get technical approvals from customers. He will report to Mark Wagner, Vice President/General Manager, Wheel End Business Unit.

Rieger, who has spent seven years with ConMet, recently served as an OEM Plastics Account Manager for the company. From 1999 to 2004, he was a Design Engineer in Structural Castings after serving as a Manufacturing Engineer intern in 1997. Rieger has a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Oregon State University.
