Consolidated Metco Plants Receive DTNA Supplier Awards

Vancouver, WA –Four Consolidated Metco, Inc. (ConMet) production plants have been awarded the 2014 Masters of Quality Supplier award from Daimler Trucks North America (DTNA), the highest honor the truck-maker bestows on its suppliers.

ConMet’s plant in Monroe, NC, which manufactures wheel-end components, received the award for the 25th time—the only supplier to have been recognized that many times in the award’s 28-year history.

Other ConMet plants receiving the honor were:
• Clackamas, Oregon: 21 years
• Monterrey, Mexico: 12 years
• Etowah, Tennessee: 5 years

The Masters of Quality award recognizes suppliers that meet or exceed Daimler Truck North America’s stringent quality standards by receiving high scores on their delivery, technology, and cost performance. These suppliers demonstrate an ongoing commitment to improving the quality of their products and overall performance of their businesses.
